I was born and raised in Inkster, Michigan, a small town located about 20 miles outside of Detroit. As a child I enjoyed nothing more than singing and dancing and was accused many times by teachers of wanting to always be in the "limelight".<br /><br /> Much of my late teens and early adult years were spent immersed in the Detroit electroinic music scene. Rather promoting, rocking out until the sun came up , or hosting a party of my own I've enjoyed experiences many only dream of. After being all I could be and doing all I could do, in 2005 i moved to the bay area in search of something more. Taking my time to chose my next move, I was inspired in the spring of 2009 to host Bloom, 4th Thursday's at Anu in San Francisco.<br /><br /> Bloom is a showcase of music and art from a woman's perspective. The night is produced entirely by women, from flyer design to door person, yet the vibe is completely warm and welcoming to all. It is my wish over the next year to bring in some female power players from the electroinic music industry while continuting to shine light on up and coming talent from in and around The Bay.
