seems to load fine in safari, ff, opera, ie and chrome in its designed minimum 1280x960, but some people are saying otherwise?

isnt that the calendar on tranceaddict.com?
Is there any way to submit events?

yes it's using the same source page as the one embedded on ta, but that site bogs and goes down more often than mine so i made a standalone version. i'm working with my friend rafal who put up sfedm.com to build a database version of the calendar with some sort of submission form. any feedback on which design you like better between the 2? or ways to make either one better?

Here's my 2c.
- Generally prefer the layout on sfedm.com, feels a little cleaner without all the promoter/venue links hanging off the sides
- The scrollbar in the middle of the page on this one is kind of strange
- However, I do think the light text on a dark background is more readable than dark text on light background
- I'd push down the content so the labels don't overlap with your graphic up top
- How come some of the column labels are not the same size?
- Venue should definitely come before promoter, the most important factors are definitely the date, artists, and venue
- The font is really small, I'm lucky enough to have good eyes so it doesn't bother me, but most people do not enjoy reading 10px fonts
Here's my hackjob before/after:

Anyways, probably more detail than you were looking for. Thanks for making these, I use both calendars regularly and they're super helpful.

would be awesome if you could click the event info for a inbrowser popup of flyer and detailed info. The logo is left to be desired. :(

sweet, according to this. Robin Hood is playing Sept 26th in Oakland
"Sep 26 Robin Hood, Mark E Quark, Fingermonsters, Clint Stewart, Heatseeker & more ASR / 12-yr Reunion / As You Like It! TBA (Oakland) techno, minimal"
good site, nice layout.

1) ya i agree, the links should be moved off the page
2) the overlap was intentional :O
3) it's stylish! lol
4) i agree the venue is a more important detail than promoter, but i figure the promoter deserves more love than the venue for making the event happen. there's also a lot of people out there that go to a party, love the music and the crowd, but attribute the vibe to the venue without knowing who the promoter is. the promoter has a greater bearing on what the night's going to be like than the venue and so i feel people should learn to pay more attention to that.
5) had to keep the font small to fit the columns in neatly for people with small laptops using small screen res. the alternative would be multiple-line listings for nearly every event. i could go that route...
thanks for the feedback guys! :)

That's Errol Flynn hot shots. Can your calendar tell if he'll be there?
